International Admission into any US college is highly selective in almost all cases, so I guess international admission into the ivies and other very selective colleges like Stanford are exponentially harder and who knows maybe they look for internationals from countries with extreme political or social problems (I read about a girl who got into Harvard and was from Haiti and her goal was to return to her country to rid it of corruption (sounds idealistic to me but w/e it's a nice goal nonetheless)).

It's weird how much rushes through your head once you hit that button. Suddenly I felt like my essays were Kindergarten-quality and everything else equally awful. Gwaahhh. It's like someone lopped my height in half.


My mind can hardly even wrap around the fact that it's just a month and a half until decisions. That's... Not even that long! I won't even be on Christmas break yet! Not even Christmas break!!

yeah, i share all of ur guys' anxiety...i submitted mine a couple weeks back but im worried about my essays and that my stats arent good enough...but we'll see

For everyone wondering about decision day, I know that the 11th is the date all the ivies release their early decisions so I think its pretty reasonable to assume that Stanford will probably release around then.

Also, HAPPY NOVEMBER!

We've already waited through part of October, I'm sure the rest will be nothing...
