new SAT writing section

if you took the new SAT administration in march and did well in the writing section, do you think the adcoms will take a look at the essay you did? even the essay score at least?

i got a 12 and i hope they do. just to get an idea of the kind of writer I am. do you think they'll see the essays in the admissions process (like have they been known to do this before with the SAT II writing, which I doubt cuz I don't think they kept the essays), or will they even see the essay score?

thanks, it'd be nice to know

I have no idea. I doubt it b/c does the collegeboard actually send the essay to schools? They will see the 12 subscore though. Anyway, it is the opinion of many people that a timed writing section does not truly measure you true writing potential. There are people who are amazing writers who win ARTS Awards who score 9 on the writing section. Nontheless I'm sure you're a great writer and that will show through in your essays. Or I might just be saying all this b/c I only scored a 8.
