Just got my daughters admission letter!
740 M 680 R 720 W
top 10% all honors classes
good activities
10K presidential scholarship!

Good luck to all waiting, BTW D/school works on a trimester so no report available yet, so I don't think 1 Qtr report is necessary to hear

My twins got their letters today....they left them open on my computer! They received a Stonehill Honors Merit Scholarship for 10.000. (You would need a 3.3 to keep that.) They are very happy but know they would need more than that to attend. I will send out FA info asap, but I know next year, because of an internal job change, my husband will be making 3-4000 more a year (not a huge amount, but it can change aid)
They would like to attend the Honors forum in March, fingers crossed, the package will work out.
Good luck to everyone else who applied!

Congrats! Does that mean they got into the honors program? And what were their stats?

Yes, it was an invitation. They (even though it's anonymous) don't like me posting scores, but they were mid-600's and one twin got 710 in writing. GPA was 3.8, weighted, if my memory is correct. They took about 2-3 AP's, and will have 3 each this Spring. Between them they had a 3, 4 and 5 on them.

Do you guys think you'll end up attending Stonehill? I applied ED so I'm bound to it (not that I mind ) but I'm wondering, what other schools did you apply to?

Woo-hoo! My daughter just got her acceptance letter today and is thrilled. It was agonizing to wait for this letter while it seemed everyone else got theirs last week, but we're very happy with the end result.

I got my acceptance letter today and i got 10 grand a year in the dean scholarship.
GPA = 85 (it's weighted, i know it's low)
Curriculum = i've taken about 4 aps throughout high school and a couple more honors. My high school is a good school.
Test Scores = 35 on the ACT
EC's = I'm in a bunch of clubs (not president or anything tho), I did track throughout high school but i'm not that good. I'm an amazing writer and i've had a poem published. I'm also musical and i play guitar in a band.
essay = really good, i'm a twin and i wrote it about being a twin
recomendations = i think they are generally positive but nothing special.

I didn't even visit stonehill because it is one of my safeties but it seems like a great school. The other school's i'm applying to are:
Bucknell, Colgate, Emory, Gettysburg, Lafayette, Loyola Maryland, Richmond, Villanova, Wake forest

Stonehill, do you live nearby? Sometimes it goes by location, last name, when you sent it in, etc. And there are a few instances, where it gets lost. I would wait and call if you don't hear by Friday. They said on their site, "first group going out" so there is more than one EA batch.

From their site:
Just a quick note to address some concerns over Early Action and Early Decision notification letters: Due to a large volume of applications from a very competitive pool of candidates, we are working hard to send out decisions as possible. If your application is complete, you should be hearing from us soon! If your application is incomplete, please look for correspondence about your missing transcripts, recommendations, test scores, etc. so we can review your application as soon as possible
