Sending certificate from summer study abroad

The past two summers, I have done spent three weeks in both Spain and Costa Rica attending language schools for three hours of language classes a day. I also lived with host families and did lots of activities, etc. Should I include a photocopy of the certificate with my hours and completition of the program to the schools I'm applying to? One of the certificates has my grades for the class. I didn't get any school credit for these study abroads (just better Spanish grades...) so they aren't on my transcript.

Thanks in advance!

Go for it! It certainly can't hurt you chances. Don't go overboard and send a small sttack of certificates, but the one reporting your grades is a great thing to send.

Good luck

I guess you can send one that reports grades, but you don't really need to, and I don't think they'll pay much attention to it. They trust that you did the program without needing to see proof.
