Don't worry too much about your passport
I applied for mine over Thanksgiving break and just got it today. Two weeks to the day. Apparently the lines aren't taking as long anymore.

yeah, I'm going to france this summer with my french class, and I got my passport in only 2 weeks! And the guy told me that it wouls come in 6-8 weeks.......

Same thing to for me! I got it in like 2 weeks. We applied for it sooo early and it came so fast.

chocolatelover, when are you going and where? I'm going to Paris in July!! I was told 4-6 weeks, so I was expecting it around Christmas, but yay for early passport getting. I called my mom and freaked out, lol. I can be an international traveler now!!
