I'm an Industrial engineering major and a freshman here in boston. Was wondering if you guys could recommend some places/programs to go to for engineering majors?
Also, I was thinking of doing a summer abroad this summer and would appreciate it if you guys could recommend any programs.
I'm hoping to do SIT's summer program in Iceland. While I'm not an engineering major, the program seems geared toward engineering and environmental science majors (I just want to get the practical experience). The whole program is geared around alternative energies so while it might not be hardcore engineering, it certainly will be the opportunity of a lifetime!
You need to apply NOW though. The application date is April 1st for SIT and most other programs. You'll need 2 letters of recommendation and an essay.
hmmm thanks for the advice.. Found out that I won't be able to do a study broad this summer due to family issues but was hoping to go to Asia/ Europe/UK/Australia for my study abroad.. Not very interested in environment-related stuff.Any ideas?
Thanks and good luck with your application Silver clover!
