I'm a freshman at the MSB at Georgetown majoring in finance and international business and minoring in econ. I'm strongly considering studying abroad at the London School of Economics (a full year junior program) and am deciding so soon because I need to decide what sophomore courses to take depending on whether or not I go. My concern is that the program ends July 2 and most ibanking internships start earlier. Any advice? Is it possible to still intern while missing the begining?
Like the OP mentioned, the end time for LSE semester is a little too late for US summer intern. And there are problems about interviews for US-based firms.
Is it possible for a US citizen to look for a summer intern in UK (London)?
Thanks in advance.

yes. Go to the place called "careers service" or something smiliar at LSE when you arrive. They will have hundreds of advertisements for summer work. Anyone enrolled at a student in the UK for 6 months or more is automatically issued with a part time work visa allowing you to work up to 20 hours per week. If you want to work longer than this then usually an employer has to sponsor you. If you get an internship for a bigh company this would be no problem. My housemate is from China and she got one.
