I'm still waiting but all of the unis I applied to (except Oxford) sent me an email, and Ediburgh sent me a way to track their decision.

I got the email from St John's, Oxford today; not sure if they're going to send out actual mail due to the postal strike.

Hey there! I noticed that FinalCut10 is taking the TSA exam, I am aswell. I was wondering if you knew of any practice exams to look over besides the ones on the Cambridge Assessment testing site?

Haha I'm probably just going to do the TSA prep on the Cambridge Assessment page. I really don't know how else to prepare for it. I've heard it is one of those tests that your "not supposed to prepare for" but I might do one of those IQ booster books or something, just to get in the critical thinking mindset. What else do you plan to do, snorlexx? Also, to which college did you apply (for PPE, right?)?

lmao snorlexx?
I actually found a lot of websites that have practice questions on them. Im not worried at all about the essay just the multi choice ones.
I bought a critical thinking/problem solving workbook thing too.
Yeah PPE, I just did an Open App.
What about you?

haha yeah. Snorlexx sounds like a pokemon. But its really just a bunch of letters I threw together :P lol
ANYWAYS yeah sorta, I searched **************.co.uk and searched TSA exam, and a bunch of threads have questions on them that people asked. And people also put websites that have critical thinking questions. But its a pain because you have to really dig around in those threads..took me a few hours.
Thats awesome, hope you get into Magdalen. I liked that one a lot, just went there in August and saw all the colleges. Really pretty one. I just did an open because I really just want to be taught at Oxford and through the tutorial system. lol. And I want PPE so naturally you would go to Oxford. I love Oxford lmao

Snolexx, you chose open because you thought it would help you get in? Or because you dont care where you go? I can tell you now an open application will make no difference, really it wont - you just risk not liking your college if you're accepted.

I just told you why I chose open. Do not tell ME why I chose open. I am fully aware of the fact that it will not make a difference. thanks.

I heard that University of Edinburgh requires international students to send in a copy of their reference on official school paper with the teacher's signature. Is this true? I wasn't aware of this, and hadn't received anything from Edinburgh asking for it.

I never had to do that, so unless it's a new requirement instituted this year (which I doubt) you don't need to send in a signed reference unless Edinburgh specifically asked you.

That's what I thought. Someone on TSR told me that, but I figured the uni would contact me if they need it. I applied to St Andrews, and they emailed me asking for transcripts and a high school profile. I don't even want to go there, so I'm not going to bother, and will probably change my choice by tomorrow.
