No, I got an email too. It says "Initial Selection" though. Does replying to it absolutely guarantee acceptance? I don't want to overreact over this. Anyone know if they did this last year?

No, I definitely got the email. It's from William Herrera and I got it in my normal email, the email that I registered for the ucla portal with.

You guys shouldn't freak out. If people decide not to take the position, theyll notify the next qualified applicant. So no official rejections today!
