Oh and boricuax I was wondering the same thing about why we need a swim suit.. Cuz last time I was there ND was smack dab in the middle of farmland. Sooo I'm not quite sure on where we'd swim..

Yea and maybe there's a lake or something. I think I read a post from someone who did the life science track talking about how they went in this lake for something. Haha I really don't know the details... All I know is that I'm super excited for this summer!! And volleyballer1, haha I forgot to look there, but I saw one at American eagle! In my research I found that one piece bathing suits are either really weird, really expensive and sometimes even more revealing than bikinis haha

#1 American Eagle Fan, right here.

Now that you mention lakes, there is one at Fisher Hall! We going to have a blast there!

In the little booklet it said that we were allowed to use the rec center. Hopefully they meant during this supposed "free time" and not just during certain activities they make us do haha. They had the usual schedule for each day in that handbook too. I would check it right now, but I'm at school so I don't have it with me. In another thread, someone said (lol rhymes) that they had a lot of free time I'd assume after classes.

Does anybody know if we have to do any physical activities? I just got knee surgery so that wouldn't be the best thing for me.

Im pretty sure there are some, but I think that it is optional. Besides I don't think they would force you to do any physical activity!

I talked to my college counselor today. She knows a lot of people who are involved with the summer scholars program and a lot of the students she's counseled have gone. She said they always have you doing some fun activity.

Apparently the program used to be three weeks, but they changed it to two because
"relationships would start to develop between the scholars" hahaha. I think that's hilarious

I wish it would be 3 weeks haha more fun!
Well you could feel attracted to someone is completely normal, but to have deep deep feeling its hard. Unless you live in the same state.

Yea if it was three weeks though I probably wouldn't be able to go because of volleyball haha so I'm glad it's two.

We're staying at Walsh Hall. It's inbetween the Basilica and the South Dining Hall (has the best food ever by the way!) It's going to be supppppeeeerrrr hot and humid so bring lots of tshirts and shorts! I'm super psyched for this summer too! I went to ND Vision last summer and stayed in Alumni and now I'm going to Summer Scholars!
