How would I go about documenting my three- week paid internship to put on my high school transcript? Would this be the kind of thing that even goes on my transcript, or is the transcript strictly grades? If so, what kind of legitimate paperwork would I need to send this kind of information in my college applications?
If you are filling out the Common Application (or most US college apps if they don't use the Common App), you will have space for extra curricular and work experience. I would probably call an internship work experience and describe it there. You could also weave some info into your essays if it was a particulary inspiring or strong learning experience.
