Hi. I just googled "HSHSP waitlist" and found this site, so I created an account. I only applied to two programs. Just the HSHSP program and the BU Science internship program. I have not heard a word back from BU, which makes me extremely nervous. I have heard back from HSHSP. They said that they received my application on Apr. 8 and that I was waitlisted on Apr. 14. (out of 200 applicants! Yay!).
They also said that they were choosing alternates by the first week of May (which is this week). I'm worried because I didn't check my email thoroughly (big mistake) until 8 days after she sent this letter and I finally replied with a "Yes, I'm still interested", but I am not sure if they noticed my email because it's been so long and they had not sent back a confirmation letter.
Anyways, I'm glad to be waitlisted, but I hope that I will be accepted in the end. I honestly had really bad scores (like below 2100 by quite a bit). I don't know. I get nervous, spaz out, and get distracted when I test in a humongo room full of people testing.

Hey guys, I still have not heard from HSHSP yet and I'm a little worried.
I emailed Dr. Richmond, but so far I got no reply.
However, I have contacted her before about my application.
Is it safe to say that they are still reviewing applications?
Also, does it mean that I got rejected or waitlisted?

Have you heard back yet??
I still have not gotten any word back from HSHSP. I'm really worried since it is May now and I highly doubt decisions would take this long. Should I contact Dr. Gail Richmond or continue to wait? If I do contact the program, should I email or call? If anyone could please offer me some help in this situation, I would greatly appreciate it.

i got an email today with a list of participants. everyone else did too. i think that means they've filled up all the spots.
on another note...i just found out there's a facebook group for this year! so everyone who has been accept, go join!!!

there are 24 people on the list. so if that's all they're taking, then they've already picked all the people. i also got an email with project descriptions. i don't know why some people still haven't heard anything yet....
