When you say Junior....rising junior or post-junior?

I'm sorry for the question, I'm sure it's been answered before. However, I don't think the search function would work for this.

You really have to check with each program individually. Most will be very specific, for example that you apply as a jr and attend as a rising sr.

Do you have a specific program you're interested in?

Not any in particular, but the question just arose from browsing the TASP thread. I'm currently going into Sophomore year, 2011

TASP is for rising Seniors, so you apply during your Jr year. There are definitely more summer programs for the summer between Jr and Sr year than for younger students.

Hmm...from what I read, "rising junior" most of the times means summer before junior (after sophomore year). But it does vary with programs--Senate Page & House Programs have "rising junior" meaning summer before junior and summer after junior.
