APPLE— I've finished everything except parts 2-5 of the Norton Analogy book. I thought I was behind, but then you comforted me. ;-)

Also, does anyone have the official source for the ~ twenty percent acceptance rate? Behzah101's explanation seems to be a bit shaky.

Online, I also see 20%, but I feel it should be at least lower this year based on numbers and logical deductions.
*they did say they had a record amount of people applying this year (more people, lower percentage)

Would anyone at the program be able to give a percent acceptance or admit rate for this year?

Book? There are four. As for the one by Prof. Amar, you may download the first chapter as an eBook and read it there.

Does anyone know if this reading seriously matters? I've read through a lot of the Norton Anthology, and I honestly took nothing away from it. Kind of worried I may not even finish or may finish poorly... Really hope it doesn't destroy my experience at Ivy Scholars.

I feel like I'm getting very little out of the anthology entries as well.. I read one, understand it, and then move onto the next entry and remember nothing from the first. I doubt this will cause any substantial negations once we are there, though. We were told to read, and read I shall.

anyone know if they'll be extensively covering the reading that we did, or are they just for background info./reference?

Okay so I'm international and my books still have yet to arrive(I live in China...you wouldn't believe how much is wrong with the mail here)

I did find an ebook version of the economics book, but for the law+politics ones, I'm lost. Anyone in a similar position? (i.e. don't have/havent read the books)? Anyone know if we'll be able to buy them in New Haven? Yale has to have them...
