When should i be expecting a letter?

I sent my application around mid-December and I'm just wondering when i should be getting a letter from them. Do they still practice rolling admissions?

Is that for everyone, regardless when they sent in the app?

Yeah Bing isnt really rolling admissions.

They classify themselves as "Modified" rolling admissions. I guess they let OOS kids know fast because they really want them to consider Binghamton. The same with really bright kids (1500+SATS, 95+avg. etc.). Bing really wants these type of kids so they are trying to get their offer in before many private schools which are releasing their decisions right around now.

Moronic approach as everyone has until May 1st. Do they believe that anyone will be swayed to attend and not wait the 2wks left until all decisions out.

Moronic approach for a moranic school. As a nys resident, i've given up on
SUNY system and ny....

Robb, ask your parents to complain to their State Senaator and State Assembly person. SUNYs dont treat in-staate kids fairly. They dont deserve "automony" which is a fancy word for they want state funds but put OOS kids at the front of the line.

The out of state tuition at binghamton is much less than what NY kids pay to go to Rutgers or Penn State. That must be changed.

Kayf: this is not a discussion on the topic of IS vs. OOS

Its a discussion of when should an applicant should expect a letter, within the general context of Binghamton. I think IS v. OOS is relevant, as it appears that the OOS are informed first. Ignoring the situation won't make it go away.

Hmm, I have a 96 average in all AP's and a 1500/2300 SAT and haven't received my decision yet. I don't think it has much to do with your stats.

One person does not make a trend. At some point the SUNYs are going to haave to respond to FOIL requests and taxpayer demand of transparency.

wow this got out of hand. Anyway my friend who visited Bing about a month ago said they would begin sending out a majority of their letters out by march 15. So I'm expecting a letter in the next two weeks, really hoping to get it this Monday or Tuesday.
