| Apologize for the delay...
Graduated more than five years ago, but I remained active after graduation within the alumni world, so I keep abreast of news and events.
The professors expect the students to do their work, but I wouldn't say that it is a stress-filled zone. I had gone to a small, almost private-like high school, so the transition had not been hard into college and the expectations always seemed fair, though I still feel I learned a lot. I enjoyed the Liberal Arts background, as there were courses I may not have taken if I had not been required, but I enjoyed them and feel I know more now.
I was a very active student on campus and involved in a number of groups, but I won't say I didn't just have my fun as well. There's always some activity going on (that's why you pay your little <$100 fee so it funds everything), but of course there are the fraternities as well that students can take advantage of. A little something for everyone.
Best of luck.
