how do you pronounce it?!

i've always said, swARTHmore but then i've heard it sort of slurred like SWATHmore with no real "r" sound. i'm having my interview soon, so it'd be nice to know. i don't really think it's a big deal, but it's always nice to pronounce it right...or maybe i'll just wait for the interviewer to say it first.

Forget the pronunciation. They didn't even spell it right!

Here is what Swarthmoor is named after: the country home of Thomas and Margaret Fell, built in the late 1500s. It is considered to be the birthplace of the Quaker movement in the 1650s.

I have some friends who have lived in Swarthmore all their lives...according to them you pronounce the R.
