International Student - ED?

Hi!

I'm an Indian National, who will be applying in ~Nov,2012 for an undergrad in Engineering/Computer Science, fall semester (2013).

I've heard good things about Swarthmore's Engineering program- hand's-on learning and focused, small classes. It sounds like the place I want to learn at!

I intend to apply to Swarthmore for Early Decision, as an international student. I will be asking for Financial Aid, which as I understand, is need-conscious for internationals, but once admitted, covers full Cost-of-Attendance.

Stats:

SAT 1 - 2170 (700/760/710) - 96th percentile (May scores)
SAT 2 - Will take it in October - Physics, Math 2
GPA (/4.0) - 11,12th - 3.8 & 9,10th - 4.0
Rank - Top 5%, class of 90 students, So I rank in the top 3.
In my Junior+Senior years-
Core Subjects - Math, Science,Physics,Chemistry
Languages - English, Hindi
--Subjects are comparable or at higher levels than US equivalent APs.

ECs:

-MARRS International Spelling Bee - International Level Qualifier (1 year), State level Qualifier (1 year)
-Okinawa Karate - Black Belt (9 years - since 2nd grade in the US)
-National Science Olympiad - City topper (3 years)
-National Interactive Science Olympiad - National Rank 53 (1 year)
-On school Science and Literature (debate, spelling, essay) competition teams. (throughout high school)
-On School Basketball and Handball teams (throughout High School)
-In student council/government - 9, 10th grade
-House Vice-President - in 9th grade
-House President - in 10th grade
-Won numerous school-level, inter-school-level Debate, Essay and Speech Competitions
-Won various other competitions - Science & English mainly (throughout High School)

Any ideas?

Thanks!

So Swarthmore's aid does not cover full cost of attendance, it covers demonstrated financial need as determined by the CSS Profile. Use Swarthmore's aid calculator to estimate your financial award and see if it is sufficient.

The problem with the aid calculator is that it asks for US citizenship, tax returns and other things that I can't provide.
