No, I don't think it is according to audition dates.

I agree with NotMamarose--my D auditioned mid-January and has not heard a peep. A co-workers son auditioned in mid-Feb and received a rejection letter last week. Go figure. All I know is that I am a wreck but my D is calm, cool, collected and quite frankly not worried....too busy getting ready for her HS spring musical...:-)

I got my into the musical theatre BFA on February 18th. I got an email and a day, maybe two later I got an actual letter. I'm visiting this weekend so I'm pretty pumped!

They absolutely love it! They say they are challenged everyday and are getting exactly what they wanted from the program and a lot of opportunity. They seem like a really tight knit group which is always good. I'll let you know more after this weekend, I'll be spending a lot of time with them!

I can't believe I still haven't heard yet! I'm growing so impatient. Does anyone know when the third wave will hear?

I haven't heard yet either. I am on vacation in NY right now and arrive home on Friday; I'm hoping to find some good news in my mailbox when I arrive.

Just got off the phone with the drama dept and admissions---D auditoned mid-January and we have heard nothing! I was worried maybe they were missing something. In any case they looked her up and said she was in the final wave, and to keep an eye on both e-mail and mail over the next week to 10 days....AAAARRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!! Hoping no news is good news this late in the game??

erroberts--did you audition anywhere else besides AMDA, SYR and Ithaca? We are still waiting to hear from auditions at Emerson, CMU, NYU Steinhardt and Syracuse--got into Wagner MT, which is definitely a good option, but Syracuse is her most desired right now...

my D auditioned in mid October and still hasn't heard! She got into NYU tisch but not Wagner! I really like the Syracuse campus better than Manhattan!Did your daughter get the music scholarship at Wagner ?? My D got the scholarship although she didnt get MT. SO she's not as keen on Wagner now..

Hi-D got into both Wagner's MT and Vocal Performance (BM) programs---she wants MT, but I guess her audition for the music scholarship prompted the music dept to offer her a spot as well. Admissions called and asked her what she preferred--no question MT--and they said they would send out her scholarship info. We have yet to receive that. I am "thinking?" she is going to get the music scholarship, but again, nothing in writing yet. She was "blown away" by the talent at Wagner auditions (only time she had to audition in front of the other students trying out). Was NOT prepared for that at all and felt she bombed in her monologue, did OK in vocal, dance was not an issue (she was on the fast-track ballet route until freshman year HS--Boston Ballet ect., dance is very strong for her). I just can't believe we are at the end of march and we have 4 more schools to hear from!!!!
