hgatork, in my house it's only me worrying. My husband is much more calm and collected about it. She got in to Elon academically and loves it so he thinks why worry, she will just go there! Of course, he hasn't traveled all over hell's acre with our D for auditions!

My husband actually went on more of them than I did!! But we are both going CRAZY. My D has some academic acceptances also, but they don't mean much to her without the MT acceptance. I honestly don't know what she would do if she didn't get into any of the MT programs. Just not something any of us can wrap our heads around now. I guess we will think about that if we are forced too!! So you are in the same situation - correct - with no MT acceptances yet?

Correct! We have only heard from Penn State (today with a no). Otherwise, waiting on 8 of them! She really loves Elon so she is starting to mentally prepare for it if no BFA offers come in. Hang in there! They will go where hopefully they are meant to. (so Zen of me

So funny how everyone says that!! I guess it must be true. My D really loves Elon also - be cool if they both get in! We are waiting on 5 at this point...

FYI..

I just spoke with the admissions office at SU's College of Visual and Performing Arts, to make sure they had received my son's audition payment.

She said she believed that decisions will be going out in 2 weeks via email.

In years past, Syracuse looks to obtain an acting class of 20-25 and an MT class of the same size. Not sure if there are any changes this year for the class of 2015 because there is a new department head.

For the BFA acting program at Syracuse, we heard that last year Syracuse accepted 30 students and all 30 entered the program.

What if you haven't heard from SU at all?
I'm still waiting, my friend was accepted and she auditioned after I did

It comes in waves so don't worry. My D has not heard anything either but her friend did and they auditioned on the same day!

There will be at least one more wave of acceptances, probably by the end of the week.
