Engineering Classes

I've already started to kind of plan out what I want to do next semester. By the catalog I would be taking Chem 107/117, Phys 208, Math 152, and Engr 112. I think this is suicide to take these 4 classes which are only 14 hours but more realistically like 20 hours to me. I've heard multiple people say that they are going to take 208 at a community college either during the fall semester (Blinn) or at their local community college during the summer.

I've been using the Texas CCN Matrix whatever thing and I don't see how this is possible because it seems like the only course that Blinn has that is even close to 208 would count as Phys 219 and not 208.

Can 219 substitute for 208 or am I missing something?

I can't edit but I found this: Blinn College Course Transfer information

Which by that says that PHYS 2426 at Blinn would count as PHYS 208 at A&M, it's just kind of strange since that's not what it seem like it says on the TCCN matrix.

Ideally I would take this class at Austin Community College during the summer but I can't find a class like that for ACC so I don't know if that one would transfer to A&M.

I took those 4 plus an additional class (Poli Sci. maybe) in one semester, and I did fine. It will be a lot of work, but it's not "suicide". As a senior in engineering, trust me, it will get MUCH worse as far as difficulty and workload go. It's really just good practice for your time management skills for upper level coursework, where you will take 5 upper level engineering classes in one semester.

As far as taking classes at other schools, make sure and check with your counselor about which classes from which schools are applicable to count in place of the TAMU classes. Most engineering departments at TAMU are really strict about transfer credit involving physics/science/engineering.
