When you call they give you a lot of options and i went through current applicants, applicants checking on their status of application, applicants checking status of current applications. A lady from admissions answers and she said she was in the group that handled the transfer apps. She then asked me for my UIN and wUhen through the whole time line with me. But it seems like everyone has a different answer. I applied for fall but I am planning to attend summer hope they hurry. I'm worried Eng 111 and 112 might get full early.

I wouldn't worry about it. It says on the tamu site that there are 72 spots open lol. I doubt it is going to fill. Just wondering, how are you going to find housing?

Ah I see. I sure hope that the lady you talked to is right amezquita05. The wait is killing me! If what that lady says is true, everyone that is on step 3 will be at an advantage. In that case both you and I should be happy.

anyone remember the old student directory trick? https://services.tamu.edu/directory-search/

by searching your name, it tells you what your major is. I guess for some this could indicate whether they got accepted into their major before them knowing on AIS. Im not sure if this is updated before AIS, but its something to look at.

When i searched my name on there, it came up with major TEAM. Now when i search it cant find my name. I am a blinn team student applying for transfer.

klparker312 is right. I know a couple of people admitted as freshmen and this does not work. Hopefully it works for transfer students. Looked up my name and got nothing. Waiting really sucks.

I am too, hang in their you're not alone. Just curious how did you come up with that estimation mcalvelloxx?

My answer: At the earliest I'd say the last week of April. According to amezquita05, if your on step 3 you should know in about 2-3 weeks.

TAMU: Early May

If anyone knows otherwise feel free to inform.

Today I was told by both the dean of the liberal arts college and an advisor that the letters would be sent out on May 1st.
