Don't shriek too loudly with what about what I'm about to tell you.
I submitted my documentation pretty late and my highschool transcript didn't arrive to A&M until March 24th (I'm from NY). As you guys know, the deadline for documentation was March 15th. So, I was just wondering if I am on Step 3 now, does that mean they accepted it or can they still reject my app because of late documentation?
I had a similar situation. I sent in a old transcript that wasn't my most current. They put me from step 3 back to step 2. After that, I called them and they got my most current transcript from my current school even though it was a day after the dealine. I've been on step 3 for a month and have had no problem simce then. If on your AIS it said incomplete or something like that then you should be concerned. Otherwise your probably good. I called about my app. and they said I was good.
Maybe your just a lucky person like me. Damn Yankee!
I "plan" to live off-campus with a buddy from high school that goes there. I also "plan" to join the Corps, I could get housing pretty easy that way as well.
I say we all call admissions and come back and post what they tell each of use. I bet we all have different responses. What major did you all apply for?
I don't know. Mays only accepts 75 however, I don't know how many apply. Does anyone know how many apply to TAMU as external transfers all together and how many are accepted? Or at least Mays?
By the way I called admissions today at 10:31 central and i was told, " Admission decisions for transfer applicants are made by each department and the decision of applicants who are seeking admission for fall or summer terms are made anywhere between a month to a month and a half after the deadline" I asked twice to verify.
blackag....All I know is from the reports published that Ive read...back in 2005 only 62.9% of applicants were offered admission to A&M.....so I think about 3000 applied as external transfers, and about 1800 were admitted.
Now I dont know about the rest of you, but my whole family is looking at what happens to me here in the next few weeks. Im the first one of the grandkids in my entire family to attend college. This will be the second time that Ive applied and had to wait like this. I would like to know where each of you are applying into...Ill start off.
