I have worked for a University before in Maryland. College Admissions is an incredibly difficult job. You know you are changing a kids life. You know it is hard to receive a rejection.
TAMU received over 26000 applications in freshman admissions for 8100 spots.
I have no idea of how many Transfer admission applications there are, I am sure thousands. It is even harder for transfer student admissions because you have to review their college transcripts and it isn't so cut and dry as "he is in the top 15, has a 4.0 gpa, and active in community service, etc"
I am sorry you are having to wait for the answer to your transfer admission. I know it is difficult to wait. I also know it is not an easy chore to balance the number of students at a huge University. Just give them some grace. You probably have no idea what is involved in their job. I am positive they are not making you wait on purpose - "Hey, lets dangle Inter89 a little longer..." unless you have been a royal pain for them, even then I believe they are a little use to dealing with impatient applicants.
Best of luck -
I truely hope you find out very soon.
But think of the freshman student that may have been waiting for 9 months for their answer and are finding out now.
It is a waiting game.
