congrats ampzor! I cant believe im still on step 3! Got accepted to UT weeks ago..I think they may have lost my app or something. Are you still going to UT or are you going to reconsider about going to a&m.
Well, I am already set up for UT (orienation is monday). I would have liked to goto A&M but, there will be a year worth of set backs for me if I did choose A&M over UT. At A&M I couldn't take any of my major sequence classes until I complete two intro classes which would put me a year behind since each of those classes can't be taken in the same year. I also wouldn't have anything left to take in the Spring '10 since all of my basics would have been done by then. At UT I can just dive into my major coursework. It was a difficult choice, but the odds played against me going to A&M.
I didn't mean to post this out of spite. I wanted to let the rest of the engineering majors who are still waiting know that I heard back.
Congratz Ampzor, thanks for notifying us you got a notification. Have fun at UT, that is definitely sounding like the right choice.
I am still waiting on Industrial Distribution to give me an answer. Calling again tomorrow, I need a decision now otherwise I have to put down a payment on my dorm for my old school this week or I lose my housing spot. Good luck all, I hope this process goes smoother for you as this week approaches.
anybody else hear ANYTHING? i was told final decisions were made yesterday when i emailed the director of recruitment this morning, yet when i called admissions yesterday i was told that I was still in review.
is my AIS supposed to go through the process or is that just a glitch?
xkristi19x: I called today and they said I'm still in final review. She said it could be another week or something. I think you might have gotten some false info.
