some of the nicer apartments do have shuttles; however, A&M does operate a bus system on and off campus...check out the routes at http://transport.tamu.edu/transit/routemaps/detail.pdf You may find it not even necessary to purchase a parking permit if the bus goes right by your apartment... Lot 100 is around Reed Arena which is on West Campus, so if the majority of your classes are not located on the west side of the campus you may want to look into another parking lot/garage. For example, if you are a Engineering major you might want to look into the North Side Garage. Here is a map with buildings, parking lots, and bus routes - Untitled Page (play with the selections on the left)

They can't force you into just any class. They can only force into classes within your department. So if you're an engineering major and need XX science, they won't be able to force you into the science class which is unfortunate.

I was just recently changed to step 4 on the AIS page. However most of you said that pretty much right after you found out you could log into Howdy and register for classes, However on my Howdy page its still the same. Does this mean I more than likely did not get accepted? The people that work on the AIS page said to wait for the letter to find out any more info so im just confused right now more than anything.

If your howdy has not changed within two days of being moved to step four then it doesn't look good for you.

I didn't mean to sound negative. My howdy didn't change in May when I went to step 4. I was denied and told to send in my spring grades. This month, I was moved to step 4 again after reviewing my spring grades. I got all the registration stuff on my howdy page a day later.

I though you had already been accepted and attended the NSC mcalvellox?

From what I was told by the mechanical engineering advisers when I registered for classes you have to wait a semester before you change your major.

Yea, I have been accepted but not into business.
Tried to switch to general studies but got denied today.
Apparently you cannot take Acct 229 and 230, info and mgmt if you are in liberal arts..

Maybe you have too many credits to be placed in general studies. I think the limit is 30 credits or something.

So you been to orientation at UT yet ampzor? Are you getting a decent fall schedule. Eng 111 and eng 112 at a&m are pretty easy classes.
