Yeah... I wrote three essays for TU and from the looks of it, it was a total waste of time because I don't even want to go there anymore lol... Thats what you get when your in autsin visiting friends and having them talk you into applying lol...

that post reminded me about the scholarship and I just wrote a quick essay and submitted it, I mean I guess it's worth trying, it can't hurt

Yeah, I also applied to Texas but don't want to go there anymore.
I like A&M more

carchase11, how many paragraphs did you end up writing?

Three paragraphs, ~350 words. It said 8000 characters max, so my essay was probably well below what everyone else writes, but meh might as well. It's short, but to the point

mcalvelloxx, I applied for that scholarship as well. I have 622 words on Essay A which came out to 3845 letters.

Must be the economy.
Due to the high cost of private schools, some kids end up in public universities.

And usually more people apply for the fall, right?
Seniors graduate from high school.

According to TU's college confidential page, transfer decisions were made as early as yesterday. I hope TAMU is not too far behind. I estimate less than three weeks and thats being very conservative. We're getting closer.
