Size of Freshman Acting Class
I know that over on the MT site there is a list of schools with the number of auditions and expected size of the incoming freshman class. I was wondering if the acting folks wanted to add to this list specifically for those programs. I know that the "number of auditions" will be harder since many of these schools also consider the MT auditions for the acting program. I have brought over some of the acting numbers from MT, and have added what I have heard from some other programs. Some may well be out-of-date, so feel free to add updated information if you have it.

CMU - BFA Acting - 16
Julliard - Acting - 20
Minnesota-Guthrie - BFA Acting - 20
OU - BFA Acting - 24
POINT PARK - BA Acting - 50
SUNY Purchase - BFA acting - 22
TCU - Acting - 10 - accept 20
UIC - BFA Acting - 16; BA Acting - 16
USC - BFA Acting- accept 26 to 30 to yield 20 however 25 accepted their spots this year: 12 male and 13 female - has no wait list
Webster - BFA Acting - 25-28

I can report on what we were told in information sessions at a couple of my son's auditions in January:

Boston University -- 850 auditioning this year for the BFA in Theatre program. 100 will be accepted. Anticipated freshman class of 40 - 45. Waitlist of 20 - 30 (larger than before).

NYU/Tisch -- 1400 auditioning for BFA in Undergrad Drama program (includes Cap21) this year. There will be 375 in the incoming class.

UCLA- 1400-2000 people audition, around 65 get chosen for Acting/MT.

From what I know... Juilliard accepts 16-18 along with Suny Purchase as well... and CMU takes 18 acting.

I think Rutger's Mason Gross BFA Acting will have about 800 audition (650 apps + walkins) will offer about 24 expecting 18 (acceptances) for Freshman class.

Actual number in NYU/Tisch straight acting?
Does anybody know the projected number of Tisch Drama freshmen who will not be in Cap21, etc, so that this list can show a more accurate count?
