Help please! I'm stuck!

I wanted to get some advice on the monologue pieces I am choosing to have ready because I know some of you may have gone through auditions, sit in on them, or just know what not to do better than I. I'm a transfer student by the way.

So I have to have at least three ready on whole for the schools im auditioning for, i'd like to possibly have four just in case. I only need a classical for one school and the rest contemporary contrasting.

So far for my classical I was thinking of doing The Daughter's monologue "Why should I love this gentleman?" From Two Noble Kinsmen

And for one contemporary piece Miss Fitt's "Oh, but in Church Mrs. Rooney" from All That Fall by Beckett.

Now is the tricky part because that contemporary piece is hard to contrast within the contemporary realm. I don't know if i would place it among comedic or dramatic because it could really depend on the delivery and the tone often changes. I know i don't have to go stark one comedy one dramatic, but i don't really want to pair one like this about an inner struggle with something like love. I guess I'm just having a hard time finding what i would consider a comedic monologue. I've been searching through my anthologies of plays and looking at plays available online and I just cant find any light-hearted monologue i connect to.

If anyone had any input that would be greatly appreciated!
