I'm looking to possibly transfer next year. My grades in highschool weren't great, 3.4ish. My SAT's were a 1350. I am hoping to transfer into any Ivy or Ivy-Caliber school. I'm hoping to get a 3.5 or above here this semester. I've been studying and taking practicee tests. If i were to retake the SAT's and get a 2250 (1500 old scale) would it increase my chances or just be a waste of time?
amid much discussion, i have yet to make a conclusion. there must be SOME reason why the higher league schools include them in thier application process, but to what end I am completely unsure.
Yes, you should worry the most about your GPA. But bringing up your SAT will help, too, especially if you hope to enter the new college as a sophomore.
