| Accepted - Marshall/Business Admin Stats:- College transferring from: UC Irvine
- Entering as: Sophomore
- GPA: 3.4
- Units completed: Between 29 and 30 (quarter system makes it all funky)
- Units in progress: 0
- Pre-reqs completed: Everything (calc 1, calc 2, accounting 1, accounting 2, two quarters of writing)
- GEs completed: Missing a couple categories.
Subjective:- ECs listed on app: Basically my HS ECs (varsity basketball, CSF, NHS, etc...) Also coached basketball for the city for 3 years.
- Job/Work Experience: Worked for a jewelry company for a year.
- Essays (subject and responses): Great. I think it might be one of the reasons why I got in. Responses were about how I would try again and again if USC were to reject me and how their tradition is what sets it apart from every other university.
- Letters of Recommendation: None
Other:- Other schools applied to: None
- Comments: Was very shocked that I got in. I thought that with my GPA and a C+ in one of my writing classes that I would have no chance of getting in. I think they might have looked at my HS records since I didn't quite have 30 units. I had a 4.2 in HS and a 1890 SAT which could have been a possible factor, who knows. Also, I was part of the Trojan Transfer Plan and kept in close contact with my counselor, which could have been a big factor regarding my acceptance. Regardless of how low you think your GPA is, always have faith!
