I was SGR'd in april, I just sent in my transcript yesterday and called my admissions counselor today to verify that it was received. Within thirty minutes my status changed to the "april 1st" status. I just called the general admissions office and bugged them, the lady told me to disregard the message and that I will receive a decision very soon. Hope this info helps!

Mechanical Engineering SGR for viterbi here. Still waiting with a June 1st status. I sent my grades in last tuesday and got the June 1st status around friday?

Can someone please verify which status this is? i have been assuming april 1st. am i right?

The University of Southern California is pleased to offer the ability of students to receive online messages regarding the status of their application. However, all decision notifications are made via postal mail.

We have received your Common Application and USC Supplement, and it appears we require no additional information at this time. We will be reviewing applications through the month of March, and we expect to be able to meet our commitment to notify freshmen by April 1st. We often like to see the mid-year grades of freshman applicants. If you have not already done so, please submit your final, fall term marks when they become available. Submit a Mid Year Report school form, or click "Mid-Year Grades" in USConnect. Sometimes, in the course of our review of applications, we find that we need additional information. In such cases we will mail a written request. If you receive a request for more information, please respond promptly.

This thread has slowed down quite a bit, no one really posting any new status updates. I wonder if admissions are winding down and finally making decisions?

Can anyone in the last few threads who received the April 1st status confirm if they have actually been accepted? Also if you don't mind posting your stats and major?

It's been a while since they received my SGR, so I'm just assuming that I'll be one of the people that will hear ~ July 15th or so. I'll call them around that time to confirm a decision has been made or mailed.

At the mean time, I'll be looking for an April 1st status since I think it means a decision has been made, otherwise its just a long wait for me. (Not sure how true the April 1st assumption is)

they say 2-4 weeks after you submit your spring grades right? it will be 3 weeks for me that they've had them tomorrow... ahhh

For those of you that have submitted your ECD already, did you guys get any kind of email confirmation? I just submitted mine yesterday and want to know if I should be expecting some kind of receipt confirmation. Also, how long did you have to wait after submission until you were able to sign up for orientation, set up your USC email account, etc.? Thanks.
