My application wasn't complete as of four days (late SAT scores) and I did not get the email. Honestly, I wouldn't read much into it.

ChicagoBears1, any ideas on my chances of being accepted into Vandy for Fall 2012? Here are my credentials.


College Freshman
Current School- United States Military Academy at West Point
College GPA- 3.95(1st semester) currently 3.6 for 2nd semester, will go up
18 credit hours 1st semester, 20 credits second semester
ECs- National Society of Black Engineers, Military training

High School
HS GPA- 4.28 weighted
Test Scores- ACT 32
EC's- 1 year of football, 4 years of basketball and soccer (captain of both teams 2yrs)
National Honors Society
Mu Alpha Theta
Community Service every month for all four years of high school

Vanderbilt is an amazing opportunity that I would love to have! Thanks!

My daughter received the email last week.

College GPA: 4.0 (39 credit hours)
Honors Program: Yes

High School GPA: 3.7
ACT: 30

EC: Many!!

I got the e-mail as well. I'm currently a second-semester college freshman.

College GPA: 4.0 (38 credit hours)
High School GPA: 3.97 (weighted)
ACT: 30
Lots of extracurricular activities during high school, not as many in college.

Hey you. I think probably by mail. Some people received false e-mail that MIGHT indicate acceptance. But they only just started reviewing transfer apps. My counselor said that he hasn't looked at mine yet, so I'm hoping it will happen within the next two weeks.
