Ouch sorry to hear that yeoirishs.

That really makes me nervous. I suppose I'll have to double my effort with ECs, and make sure my rec letter + essays are mind blowing.

I suppose I can email BU about the high school thing or even maybe talk about it in one of my essays.

My portal FINALLY says, "The review of your application is complete" For everyone who has gotten this message already, how long did it take to actually change to a decision???

I'm not sure how long it takes. I never checked mine until the day I got an email saying my decision was ready, but it all must have happened really fast because it only took them 3 weeks to get my materials and accept me.

I checked my applicant link around 9:30pm PT today and was greeted with Congratulations!

So happy.

Hey! I just heard back from the School of Management last Thursday... I was accepted! Will I be seeing any of you guys this fall?

We should make a Facebook page or something for all the transfer students

I was accepted, but since I was also accepted to BC, I probably won't be attending.

CAS- Architectural Studies- Junior
California Community College- Pasadena City College
HS GPA- 2.8 (didn't try until my junior year, had A- avg in school thereafter)
College GPA- 3.8
SATs- didn't send them
ECs- Eagle scout, Internship at political strategy group, Honor Society, United Nations, and a few school awards and ECs


Applied just to see where I could get in. Definitely not attending since there is no way I am going to pay the full 60K+ when I can go to a great state school. Sucks that transfers can't defer enrollment. I could pull the scholarship money I would need in that time-decided to apply at the last minute.
If I didn't have to consider cost, I rather go to BU rather than UCB, and UCLA where California CC students have priority and pay instate tuition (plus they don't even look at HS transcripts.)
