Question regarding the Housing Application? When my S goes in to the Housing Application, the drop down menu states he is a Freshman? Is this simply a programming for housing issue? His first year courses at his current college will transfer to Northwestern correct?

Tell your son to keep reading his NU email and forward it to his main email. If there is no transfer option just call Housing 847-491-7564. I had the same issue and they fixed it in 5 seconds.

I am now a chemE sophomore in UIUC. Since I am looking for a smaller size learning environment, I decided to transfer to Northeastern. Below are my current academic stats.

SAT(CR/MATH/CW): 410/680/550
SAT II(CHEM/MATH):720/800
ACT(English/math/reading/science/writing):21/35/12/22/20 Composition:23

AP: Math BC:5
Chinese:5
Physics C:3
Biology: 3
Current college GPA: 3.87


Should I retake my ACT or SAT?

if northwestern requires the 2nd semester grade...does that mean it will not weigh HS record heavily?

^I would assume so. Can anyone clarify how the "rolling" decisions work? I'm worried that I won't have enough time to get to know my professors(my semester begins January 28th) so every extra week helps with the recommendations.
