@dqjcr4 Wow...totally opposite of me! I would never dream of going to school hung over, or even party the next day. lol.

Thanks so much for your advice! Let's just hope I am accepted this time around...if not, I'll do as you suggested.

What is your brother's area of interest, if I may ask?

I have been reading through some stuff and i have seen things say that NU is considered a transfer friendly school considering it is a TOP school?
Would you guys agree with that?

Well yay for me, lol. At least I've got 1 brownie point. I'm not really going to talk about my race in my essays because I haven't had an life altering experiences because of it. And I imagine a large number of minorities applying there are already talking about that anyway. I'm also tired of writing about the woes of being black in America

@mattymark From what I have researched...I would strongly beg to differ. Especially considering the increase in the number of transfer applicants. This year they had about a 6% decrease in acceptance rate for incoming freshman (I think it was close to 6%, don't quote me though).

So I would have to argue that where you found that info is not exactly too accurate.

That's why I am stressing so much! lol

He's a math major. Not sure what exactly though.

And it varies from year to year. Last year NU was NOT a transfer friendly school. 130/1,521 accepted for a total acceptance rate of 8%. I believe in years past it has been higher.

@ mattymark: Yeah, none of the top schools are "transfer friendly", but if they like you, you'll get in.

Anyway, obviously the best thing to do is turn in the best damn application you can, so even if you get rejected, it won't be because you didn't try your best

@dqjcr4 Thanks for all your advice! And yes, you are correct. In previous years the transfer rate has been higher.

You can check all the SAT ranges, transfer rates, etc. all using this tool. It's all accurate too because it's run by College Board.
