As far as getting into grad school from A&M, it's a well respected school, so it all depends on how you do there for gpa, LORs and research and how you do on your GREs.
It sounds like you will be a competitive transfer candidate, but with the low transfer rates at the level school you are talking about, it's impossible to predict chances.
My advice, if you really want to leave A&M, is to apply to these schools, but also include on your list some schools with higher transfer rates. I understand that as an Intl. student, FA may play a part and limit the schools that you could reasonably afford. If that's the case, there's still not harm in applying to these selective colleges and staying at A&M if none come through.
