Community College transfer Hopeful

I live in California, and i recently was told that you can't switch CCs in order achieve a better GPA. Is this true?

Your GPA is cumulative across all college work attempted. You have to submit transcripts of all schools attended.

So no, you can't just go to a different CC and start from scratch with a blank GPA.

Is there no way around it?

I think you may be describing Academic Renewal, which is not the same thing as just going to a new CC and starting fresh.

Legally, there is no way around it.
