Please help!!! Please! For a community college transfer student.
Sorry this is kinda long, but please help.
In order to transfer you need a certain amount of credits right.. So what my question is, do you really need to take any college level math classes in order to transfer? Or can you just take them wherever you transfer to? While still taking other classes. I want to double major. So what I was thinking is, try to get into LAS and major in English or something while I finish taking all the college level maths I will need to do my other major. I know every college requires a geometry and algebra competency which wouldn't be a problem for me by the time I apply. Just taking the college level math class before the time I apply is the issue. I want to apply for Fall 2013 or spring 2014. The deadline for Fall 2013 is in March. I know it would be less competitive in the spring but I really don't want to have to wait that long given that I'm already 20. I can take the placement test for geometry and algebra now and get into Precalculus that way, but I never did the last 3 chapters of alg 2 and I only know a little bit of Geometry, but I think I could test out of because they make it as basic as possible for the geometry portion of the placement test.
