Chance for Industrial Engineering Transfer

Hi, I am an Industrial Engineering major looking to transfer Fall 2013 to Cal Poly SLO, Cal Poly Pomona, or USC.
My GPA is a 3.4, and I will have my IGETC, Math, Physics, and all other suggested courses completed by the time I transfer.

I'm really hoping to get into one of these schools since no other UC besides Berkely offers a Bachelors in Industrial Engineering. The good news is that I've heard industrial engineering is less impacted.
What are my Chances?

I would say it looks like a pretty solid application considering you have all the prerequisites, I also heard they value that a lot. But who knows I am also applying to ISE department this fall GPA 3.78 BUT!!! I will be missing two math and a physics so that has me a little worried, but I'm hoping that my veteran status and gpa ECs would help I also heard they like cross USC transfer which I would be if they let me in. Anyways best of luck!
I would say you have a better chance than me because of the requirements!!!
Chance back oh I was referring to slo, you're in for Pomona I am only applying to slo

Wow nice GPA you are currently attending USC? I think you should have a decent shot at slo! i've heard a couple of people from my college get denied with 3.6-3.8 GPA applying to SLO and missing core courses, but then again that was for more impacted majors such as mechanical and electrical engineering. I really wish more schools in CA would offer Industrial. Best of luck to you man thanks for the response. I would be happy getting into any of the schools for industrial.

Yes I'm currently at USC, I'm not 100% I want to leave but I'm not a big fan of the school.... Price is high and the location sucks so I decided to give other schools a shot like SLO and Berkely== which would be a dream but I'm realistic and know Berkeley is super tough but I will apply anyways, worse that could happen is a denial and I stay at SC... But good luck again and it's nice to see other ISE hopefuls not to many around here

Wow that's a surprise i heard SC's industrial engineering program was good. So your worse case scenario is a pretty good one if you'd even call it that haha. But yeah the tuition at USC is probably as high as they come for undergrad, but hey you'll make it back in no time when you're CEO! I hope you get into both and can take your time deciding between the two haha. Best of luck! Who knows, we might be working together in the near future.
