Course selection for spring semester

So I have had somewhat a crazy time with college. I attended a small New England private college for a semester before realizing I was not ready for college. I then took a year and a half off during which I work, took some courses, and did a outdoor education semester. When I went to apply to schools again I found out that I could not apply as a freshman, rather I needed to apply as a transfer. I had a 3.4 GPA from that one rough semester and I ended up only getting into my safety school, the honors program at a state school.

Now I am looking to transfer one last time, but I am concerned about how my courseload will appear to an admissions officer. I am currently enrolled in 16 credits: two honors level courses and then two courses that are required of all incoming students. I am now about to select my courses for the spring semester and I am confused on what I should do.

Two courses I am planning on taking are continuations of the honors courses I am currently enrolled in. So I am now looking at what I should take in addition. I thought at first I would take a couple of intro classes to continue to figure what I want to major in, and also to prepare myself in case I can not transfer. But I am concerned that taking these intro courses will make my application seem week, especially because my I had taken mostly intro classes during my semester at my first school.

Any advice?

PS- I am pretty sure that I will end this semester with at least a 3.75.
