dilemma UC/CSU transfer nursing major

Hey guys, I am in a big dilemma. I am currently a pre-nursing major at a CSU and am applying for a transfer to many two UC's, a couple of other CSU's as well as my current CSU. The problem is that the CSU and UC have different nursing prerequisites required, some of which are not offered at my CSU (however, I concurrently go to a CC). If I add all the the prerequisites I still need at the UC and graduation requirements I need to fulfill for my CSU that leaves me with 8-9 classes I need to complete by summer.

I'm pretty sure UC's won't allow you to finish a prerequisite or two over the summer. I really want to aim for the UC's because of their more "holistic" means of admitting nursing majors rather than the "point system" that CSU's use. I have a pretty mediocre GPA which hurts me for the CSU's but I could get some leeway in the UC's So should I complete the UC prerequisites for the "courses in progress" an delay the other ones, or vice versa?

I would also know which system I have a better shot at getting in...if possible? Thanks so much guys!

If you wanted to go UC, then you should have completed TAG. But otherwise, UCs are strict on meeting certain unit requirements for transferring. It would be best to wait until you finish your units and hopefully raise your GPA for both UCs and CSUs.

TAG isn't applicable for nursing majors! And moreover I currently attend a CSU so I guess that was out of the question? If I transfer this year I would have met all of the unit requirements, however....my uncertainty is coming from my major. Thanks for the help though, more is welcome(:

Oh yeah, sorry! I didn't know TAG didn't include nursing. The only UCs with a nursing undergrad degree are UCI and UCLA and they have their own requirements. Idk about the CSU but if you have all the requirements met for the UCs, you should definately do that. CSULB has one of the better nursing programs out of the CSUs, but it's uber competitive.
