Questions regarding transferring to Umich?

I'm a senior in hs now but I probably will fall short of getting in to Michigan because I go to a really hard school. My stats are 26 ACT 3.5 gpa tons of ec's nhs 2 jobs etc. I'm in state and my mom graduated from there. When I go to college next year which college in Michigan will give me the greatest chance of transferring into u of m after my soph year in college? I'm thinking Wayne state because it will be easier to get a higher gpa or Um Dearborn because they are connected. Also what does Umich care for in transfers? (If I'm transferring there after 2 years of college) do they care about the ACT? High school grades? Thanks!
connected.

Have you talked to your HS GC? Since you're IS, they might have experience with transfer students. You could also ask on the UMichigan forum here on CC.
