USF to FSU Transfer

Hey, this is my first time on the forums! I'm just curious how i look for a transfer to FSU. I'm currently at USF as a Mechanical Engineering Major. It's my first semester and everythings going well (all A-, B+) except for Calc 2, which I might end up dropping depending how my next test goes. Next semester I'll be double majoring in Mech. Eng. with International Studies. I have my AA from St. Petersburg College in addition to whatever classes I get this semester and i have an overall 3.3 GPA (unweighted). With this information, can anyone tell me what my chances are of being accepted to FSU as a transfer? Any help is appreciated, I'm not sure what the standards are for transfers.

also, I will be a "senior" level transfer. although i will have over 100 credit hours, not many count toward engineering for my AA, i just have all of my electives fulfilled (hence my International Studies/Affairs major next semester)

Why are you wanting to transfer again? The school may find it odd that you are transferring again and not many people will be transferring their senior year but you may be able to do it. If you get good grades it is worth a shot!

well I received my AA prior to graduating HS so technically this will be the first time I've transferred!

Oh then in that case, it should help a lot to get into FSU. I think you should have a good chance to get into the program! when are you applying?
