transfer chances. i will chance back.

Hello,

I'm 17 years old, graduated high school when i was 15 so i could work part time and help out my parents financially. I'm not sure whether or not that's bad on my apps.
my coursework was pretty rigorous. chemistry, calculus, physics, anthro, english. but my extracurricular reflect my interest in anthro the most.
I am currently a sophomore at a community college, applying for transfer. What types of schools do you think are safeties, matches, and reaches? Thanks.

I'm no authority on this stuff, but I'll give it a shot. Your grades and ec's are great; you are clearly a very bright person. I don't think you'll have any trouble with this. Your essay will probably be a key in pulling it all together at these higher reach schools. If you read through this site people say a lot of the ivies and schools like UChicago, Washington U, Pomona, Amherst, etc. for transfers is like a crapshoot, I think with lower acceptance rates than for first year applicants.

Still, I think you probably have a decent chance. And I would definitely include that on my application, if I graduated early with such great stats. You probably have a great story to tell; not to mention you graduated early, and worked, and still got a 4.0 at a CC while doing all your ECs.

If you have less than 30 credits, too, they will probably hold your high school record more highly than your college career, but either would work well for you anyway.

Anyway, the best of luck to you.

With those credentials I can certainly say you will be accepted at the University of Michigan.

Make me feel bad!

best of luck to you.
