Please chance me for Vanderbilt.

Hello,

*I'll be 17 years old at the time of transfer*

I am currently a sophomore at a community college hoping to transfer to a top university.I graduated two years early from high school (left after my sophomore year) due to financial reasons (i had to help my parents out because they're getting older- and in the long run this would be the smarter financial decision).

Anyways, here are my stats:
ACT Composite: 35
College GPA: 4.0
High School GPA: 3.9

major of interest: anthropology
EC:
Vice-president anthropology club
-internship at non-profit organization dealing with middle eastern/north african culture
-creator and head of music teaching program at a non-profit organization that caters to children from low-income areas suffering from mental disorders
-creator and head of cultural enrichment program at the same place listed previously
-tutor for reading at low-income school
-soprano student at music conservatory for 3 years
-presented&won anthropology symposium at school (presented on original research on anthropological topic
-i work at a local pharmacy as a clerk for the past two years
-been helping out at my dad's small business for the last four years
-created a youth council that is active in local govt.
-research on cancer cells (tested various pharmaceutical drugs)

You might get in but Vandy's pretty expensive. Yes, I know their financial aid is top notch but if $$$ is something to be worried about...

looking for some chances here

HS grades: Full IB 38
SAT: 800CR/740M/730W/2270
College grades: Yr1 3.49/Yr2 3.9 (4 pt scale; absolutely no fluff classes; massive grade deflation*)
Intl student, decent ECs/many internships, 3 strong recommendations

*the average GPA at my school is 2.8

i'm really unsure about my chances as I go cut from everywhere the last I applied to the states *****

I think you have a pretty strong chance of being admitted, esp. since your school practices grade deflation.

Hey everyone, I transferred into Vandy 2 years ago and I'm a senior now. If anyone has questions about about Vanderbilt, let me know!

I'm pretty sure Vandy's pretty popular on here. Like I've said before, maybe everyone will flock over during Winter Break.
