word got a 4.1 in that area so not the worst thing that could happen. Submitted my midterm report went down from a 3.8 to a 3.6 after my last test. Oh well, fingers crossed! Never applied to NYU before this so we'll see what happens. Stayed with my friend there a couple months ago and I can't believe anyone would want to go anywhere else. Its legit

i think its possible we'll hear next week. NYU doesn't close until Thursday so maybe some people may hear before then.

Decisions only go out on Tuesday and Thursday, so if you don't hear by next Tuesday, the 27th is the earliest date you can expect to hear by.

Personally, my guess would be first week of December. (Applied to NYU twice before, both times received decision 18 days after the day they said they would start sending them out).

@Tomeu is right @Supercolosal! I didn't know this was your first semester. They will definitely be looking mainly at high school grades. I hope 1.5 years is enough to *hopefully* erase that ugly 2.9 on my transcript!

As for rigor, I think that's a pretty obvious factor in the admission process anywhere. A 4.0 at a CC or top-tier university are both fantastic, but the rigor at the university is greater. Just some logic guys!

Just read the rest of the thread. Putting a date on an admissions decision is making me so much more anxious! I was at peace before, not knowing when I would hear from NYU. Now, the countdown begins. Oh the anxiety.

Did anyone have transfer credits come up yet? Especially those people who got a midterm request.

For some people, their transfer credits came up before they were accepted last time.

My financial aid page has changed! The year and college are now there, but I cannot see the award (of course). It says "award access unavailable."

Also, at the bottom it says:

"Select the appropriate aid year above to view your award information. If the aid year is not activated, your award information has yet to be determined."

Similar to anyone else!?!
