College Writing Class

Has anyone else taken part one of a class somewhere only to find that part two doesn't quite match up because your part one teacher was horrible?

Everything that I'm doing in College Writing II right now is completely foreign to me. The other guys who went to La Roche last semester know much more than I do despite the fact I took the supposed equal class at Mount Union.

My professor at Mount Union tried to make College Writing more a sociology class than anything--every single report we had to write dealt with gender. And the reports were very vague. Also, the Mount Union professor was always grouchy so we could never approach her for help.

Now I find myself working my butt off in what should have been an easier class for me. I typically do very well in English, and my professor right now is excellent, but I feel as if I am two years behind everyone. Sort of like I'm a high school kid taking a college class.
