SAT's for Transfers

How much do SAT scores matter for transfers? Will colleges (top universities) take SAT scores that were taken during college? (meaning if one retook the SAT in Oct.)

It mostly depends on two factors, whether you are applying as a sophmore transfer or a junior transfer. If you are applying as a sophmore transfer, your SAT's and high school record will have more weight, on the other hand, if you are applying as a junior transfer, your college GPA will have more weight. In either case, some schools allow you to retake, but you'd have to check with each one. I am doing it anyway just in case.

I agree with Jimmy...take them if you've got time...a great score will always help.

Are you applying to transfer as a sophomore or junior?

^^ i think every school (almost) allows you to retake the SAT...infact even advises to retake the SAT as they will consider the best score
