Need help! Rejection after admitted

I am not doing so well like I thought this semester. The GPA will be very low and I am wondering how low when colleges start rejecting me after they admitted me. Any experience would be nice.

Usually in the transfer agreement the university will mention the minimum GPA (usually ~2.0).

All it stated was "Admission to the University is contingent with the successful completion of the current semester". I have no clue what their meaning of "successful."

Successful probably means passing - so a 2.0 is (most likely) the minimum; call the school and double check.

What about individual grades? In what way does the GPA we earn second semester follow us as transfers?

Don't fail any classes, for sure. If you have to, get C's. Lots of the time they stipulate that you have to complete (IE pass) classes you signed up for this semester/quarter.

they generally require that you keep the same grade trend that got you admitted.

But some schools probably have already made decisions when you send them your final grades....

I think the school mentions, on USNews College Report, what the lowest GPA they will receive is. I should think it wouldn't be too far off of that number.

The only requirement I got from one of my schools was a 3.0.

do you have to maintain a 3.0- or do you have to achieve a 3.0 for this semester?
